I am the river on TikTok
Together with the City Library of Paderborn and the Friedrich-Spee Comprehensive School, a TikTok channel is being created to present the exhibition from the perspective of students

The TikTok channel for the Tatort Paderborn 2025
How do contemporary artists actually work? What does contemporary art have to do with the Pader? And what does art have to do with me?
Since February 2025, students from six classes at the Friedrich-Spee Comprehensive School have been asking these questions in the context of the exhibition "The River is Me". They are looking at the artistic positions that are part of the Tatort Paderborn 2025, and they are doing this in the context of their chemistry, social studies, and art classes. They are investigating how the artists work and what questions the artists are asking themselves in the context of the Tatort Paderborn.
The individual ways in which children and young adults are engaging with the exhibition, the artists, and the artworks will be visible on a TikTok channel dedicated to the exhibition.
Two groups are working on the art production: the chemistry class in Q2 is helping Anne Duk Hee Jordan to take "blood samples" from the Pader and is analysing the salt content, oxygen content, and pH value of the water, for example. They are being supported in this by the Paderborn Waterworks.
Two groups are involved in the production of the art: The chemistry course of the Q2 supports Anne Duk Hee Jordan in determining the "blood values" of the Pader and is investigating, for example, the salt and oxygen content or the pH value of the water. They are supported in this by the waterworks of Paderborn. Artist Daniela Brasil will develop her work in a co-creative process with the 10th grade in the subject of Society Studies. She will ask questions about the coexistence of humans and the river in the various families of the class and, together with the class, will work on an installation at the art museum.
The students will be accompanied by the media educator from the City Library of Paderborn. Led by Annabelle Peric, the classes will learn how to use the TikTok medium in a conscious way and how to implement their own videos.
The Nexus collective, which works at the intersection of art and mediation, will accompany the school with its expertise: how can we approach an artistic position? What questions can we ask ourselves?
The courses and classes involved in the project are 10f with Society Studies by Ms Baldauf, the art classes 8a by Ms Dahm and 10b by Ms Ludwig, the literature course Q1 by Ms Baldauf, the basic art course Q1 by Ms Schröter and the basic chemistry course Q2 by Dr Hennemann.
The first results can be viewed on TikTok.
